You said that Knowing who you are is one of the most important thing in life, how you would you describe that?
All of us have great potential in life, first of all it is important to answer this big question: Who am I? what do I want? Who am I really? I personally did and I do not want to just make a mark or legacy. My answer through the years was very clear, I wanted to fulfill the highest and truest expression of myself as a human being and that comes along finding some kind of vision for your life. Sometimes we do not know the plan, you have to have a direction in which you choose to go. You want to be in the driver’s seat of your own life, because if not life will drive you.
Hospitality Management, Success and Tourism, what do they have in common with being supportive to Children and people in need?
You must find a way to serve, that is my reading key. Everybody can be great, and greatness is determined by service, if you think of success, nowadays people think famous equal success and that is not the point. The real truth is that service and Significance you bring to it will last in time. When you shift the paradigm of whatever it is you do to choose to service and bring significance to it that will help you understand, will help you donate yourself to others and that can happen being supportive with Children for peace or any other life you touch every day.
Everyone has a personal experience in life that in a way reflects who you really are and the perspective of others of you, what do you think of that?
I do absolutely agree with that, it is one of the keys. No matter what happens, you learn from your mistakes and the experiences you have encountered. Eating disorders, sexual abuse when I was a little child, family matters, career, success or relationships are a path of my life , everyone has their own experiences there to teach you and force you into being more of who you are. That all “package “is automatically reflected to you and everyone around you. It is true in a way that there’s a price that comes with that, people don’t always like you, people are not always happy for you. I want the best for people and for everyone and it is something I do work constantly everyday for myself as well.
What did you think when you were awarded at the annual meeting of children for peace a few years go?
I was first so honored to become part of the committee. To me it was not just an award but again the significance I do give to what we do every day with Children for peace has the greatest potential ever to support children and their families touching their own lives and I recognize that is our choice in every way to do excellent things and be who we are with them. One day sooner or later they will touch back our lives the same way we did.
